Welcome to the world of Zelda that never was; the world of Steampunk.

Special thanks to Sam "The Man" Kirk for this narrative and the title.

"In a long lost land of mystery and fantasy comes the latest installment of the Legend of Zelda series!

In a world mixing magic and steam-age innovations, Hyrule comes alive like never before! Lord Ganon, after imprisoning those who cannot meet his lofty taxes, has his eyes set on the lofty Triforce - a power sent from the gods to grant its user infinite Wisdom, Courage and… POWER! Using his minions to pilfer the thriving town of Kakariko, Ganon searches for the descendants of the Great Philosophers. Once all 8 Philosophers are captured, Ganon's Tower will be built to reach the Golden Realm and finally obtain the coveted Triforce!

The Philosophers, predicting that they may be forced to work against their will for the sake of retrieving the Triforce, entrusted their Grandchildren with access to the Magical Arsenal - inventions, gadgets and weapons the philosophers built themselves to help thwart any necessary evil that may arise. While the Philosophers planned accordingly for such an occurrence, the vile Ganon's decimation of many of Hyrule's lands and civilization resulted in the deaths of all but ONE descendant of the Philosophers - Mademoiselle Zelda, of royal blood to the Hyrule throne.

Seeking her opportunity to act, Zelda slips out into the night on her personal WindFish-Blimp and sets out to retrieve all the Magic Arsenal hidden in 8 different locations across Hyrule to help her in her quest. Before she can get to her first destination, Skulltullas and Jet-pack-equpped Octorocks invade her ship, aiming to thwart her plans and retrieve Zelda's Navi unit - a wind-up automated intelligence drone devised by the Philosophers to guide those looking for the Magical Arsenal! Her guards eviscerated and her personal servant, Impa, wheezing her last breath, Zelda screams her lungs out, clutching Navi and waiting for her bitter fate.

Fa-Swish!

Seemingly out of nowhere, Ganon's minions are quickly taken down. As Zelda opens her eyes to see the victor, what stands before her is one of her maintenance crew workers - a young boy - named Link. Equipped with a stolen Jetpack from one of the Octorocks and quick with a pellet-shot, Link offers his services unabashedly to the Lordess. Zelda gratefully embraces Link's desire to help and together, they begin their journey!"
